W&T Offshore Announces Completion of 10b5-1 Trading Plan

HOUSTON, April 9, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- W&T Offshore, Inc. (NYSE: WTI) announced today that the W&T stock sales under the pre-arranged personal stock trading plan established by Tracy W. Krohn under Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended are complete. Mr. Krohn sold less than 3.2% of his total W&T stock portfolio in connection with a final property settlement with his wife. After giving effect to all such sales under the plan, Mr. Krohn still controls approximately 52% of the outstanding shares of common stock of W&T. Mr. Krohn has served as President since he founded the Company in 1983 and as Chairman of the Board since 2004.
